Wella Oil Reflections Review

I started using this product a year or so ago, and although it’s a little bit far down the line.. I figured what the hell, I’ll write up a review!

I inherited my nana’s Maltese hair, and with that comes the wiry locks. I was told about this product by my hairdresser, and after a little convincing (I hadn’t had much luck with other products), I agreed to give it a go… And the rest is history!

Like most, my hair becomes quite dry, frizzy and let’s face it – FLAT. I am the first to admit, I don’t often spend the time I should on my hair in the mornings. This includes wintertime, where we need to make extra efforts to help maintain our hair health.

What the product says:

This multi-sensorial oil, with macadamia seed oil, avocado oil and vitamin E, known as a natural anti-oxidant, instantly reveals the beautiful, natural reflections of hair color with a very lightweight technology that makes hair feel incredibly light and supple. High, glossy reflections: specifically designed to enhance the shine of Wella Professionals Colour, making it up to 86% more reflective. Wella Professionals Oil Reflections can be used in a number of different ways:

• Conditioning — apply a few drops of oil onto damp hair for an instant, lightweight smoothing effect.
• Styling — apply a few drops of oil to wet hair before you dry* for additional protection.
• Finishing — apply after styling to give hair extra shine, and to intensify colour reflections

Packaging:

This oil comes in a breakable glass bottle with a pump to dispense the product. Not the smallest, but depending on how many items you’d want to take, might work for light travel.

Formulation
Although it’s a serum, it’s not too runny at all, even with this once massaged onto the hair it is actually quite lightweight and non-sticky. This oil also has a strong sweet smell which I happen to quite like. It does fade after a while though.
Overall thoughts

I tend to use this product after I towel dry my hair. I use about 2 pumps, and run it through the ends – MAKE SURE YOU DON’T GO NEAR THE ROOTS! GREASE!

It not only helps with the conditioning of my hair, but helps to reduce the amount of frizz I suffer with when blow drying alone. Once my hairs dried/straightened. I like to use a small pump to go over the ends before I head out. This adds shine, without it looking greasy – just lovely healthy looking hair.  It does all these amazing things to my hair without feeling like I have some sort of oil in my hair as it is absolutely lightweight and non-greasy. I absolutely love this product, it has made me love my hair again and for what? Around £10 – No brainer! 🙂  You can buy it here: Look Fantastic
